Hundreds of Australians queue up at dump in preparation for cyclone Debbie

Footage has emerged of hundreds of Queensland residents queuing up to take rubbish to a dump as cyclone Debbie approaches.

The footage, shot on Saturday near the Hervey Range Landfill in Australia, shows a huge line of trucks loaded with diverse items collected in gardens and homes.

According to reports, around 25,000 people were evacuated as cyclone Debbie is set to bring 240km/h winds to the north of the country.
