Shighari (Catfish) Fingers | Head Balloki Fish Tour

Head Balloki barrage and reservoir is around 70km from Lahore. The road is okey but you have to careful navigating the single lane stretch adjacent to the canal. The fishing season is from end of September to late February. The wholesale fish market is on the right bank of the canal and the restaurants serving up different varieties of fried fish are on the left bank. There is a resort popular for fishing and hunting game (birds) called Rana Resort, nearby.
