Disney CEO Robert Iger extends his stay at the Magic Kingdom

Disney’s CEO Robert A. Iger will extend his stay at The Walt Disney Company for one more year. He will remain as the chief executive and chairman until July 2019, when the company will hopefully find a successor. Iger has been the CEO since 2005 and has expanded the company with partnerships with Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm. “It is obvious that the company and its shareholders will be best served by his continued leadership as the board conducts the robust process of identifying a successor and ensuring a smooth transition,” Orin C.
