According to US Weekly, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have hit it off pretty well in their first few weeks of dating. Though it’s only been about 2 months, people close to the singer have already deemed Alex the bigger and better catch than her last haul, rapper Drake.
The source sited their many commonalities as reasons for being such a good fit. They’re both Latino megastars, both are parents to children around the same age, and grew up in New York together about 7 miles apart.
The source goes on to say that they may have even met their match and definitely see a future together.
A-Rod made the first move. Back in January the baseball star attended JLo’s show in Las Vegas and decided to swing for the fences. “He went backstage to meet her,” says the source, “and they swapped numbers.” After that he followed though with texts, flowers, and tons of gifts.
