Horse racing fan David Crowley was left jumping for joy on March 14 after winning a bet placed on jockey Jack Kennedy during the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival.The 17-year-old Irish jockey rode the horse Labaik to victory, delighting Crowley, who had placed a 50-1 bet on their win.
Crowley was filmed encouraging the jockey as he watched live on his television set in Ireland.
Some eagle-eyed viewers questioned the authenticity of the video because of what appears to be a Sky play button at start of the footage. Crowley told Independent.ie that was down some childcare responsibilities that prevented him from watching it live. Credit: YouTube/David Crowley via Storyful
