Flying chairs fall down injuring nine in north-central China

Dramatic footage has emerged of a 'flying chairs' theme park ride collapsing to the ground.

The video, captured in Longnan, Gansu Province last Thursday, shows the ride with over 20 people on it suddenly dropping to the ground.

According to local news, the top stand of the ride collapsed, causing the cascade.

According to local reports, nine people were injured.
