A funny video has emerged from Thailand of a race between and rabbit and a tortoise.

The footage, shot at the Pet Variety Show in Chiang Mai on Thursday, shows the tortoise placidly walking towards the finish like whilst the rabbit, like in the fable, gets distracted and loses the race.

"A tortoise beats a hare in a race, showing that determination wins over complacency," the filmer wrote online.
