EPA chief doesn’t believe carbon dioxide contributes to climate change
  • 7 years ago
Scott Pruitt, Chief of the Environmental Protection Agency, does not think that carbon dioxide is a primary contributor to climate change. Pruitt said that it’s very challenging to measure human activity on the climate and the EPA needs to continue to research the issue. The EPA previously reported that gas emissions caused by humans increased 35 percent from 1990 to 2013. In the same report, carbon dioxide accounted for three-fourths of the total emissions. Gina McCarthy, Pruitt’s predecessor at EPA, denounced his claims saying she finds his administration questionable. Gina McCarthy
