Abortion Issue Causing Protests in the US

Saturday, anti-abortion groups have scheduled over 200 protests to take place at several different Planned Parenthood locations. Their goal is to convince President Donald Trump and Congress to completely defund the federal funding the non-profit organization. Eric Scheduler, executive director of Pro-Life Action League, stated, “We have the wind in our sails. The election was a real benchmark. Pro-life voters were really key constituency and the Trump administration has taken note.” In response, Planned Parenthood supporters are planning protests as well to protect the organization. Planned Parenthood is a great and affordable healthcare provider. They provide STD testing, safe and affordable birth control, abortions, and cancer screenings.
