Ivanka Trump's DC landlord suing US government
  • 7 years ago
Ivanka Trump's landlord in Washington, D.C., a Chilean billionaire who bought the property after the election, is suing the U.S. government. Andrónico Luksic, who owns the $5.5 million property, is asking that the government lifts the ban on building a controversial mine in Minnesota. The mine was initially blocked by the Obama administration due to environmental concerns. Ivanka and Jared Kushner moved into the home at the end of January around the time of the inauguration. Luksic's family is reportedly the wealthiest in Chile with an industrial empire that is worth around $13.1 billion.
