Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara have been one of Hollywood’s hottest couples since they began dating just a little over two years ago. Since then we’ve seen them having romantic date nights, posting loving notes on instagram, and in this case gushing about one another in the press.

In the upcoming issue of Cosmopolitan magazine the hunky heart-throb displays his strong romantic side when telling the story of him and Sofia.

He tells Cosmopolitan, “I was on a press tour when I found out Sofia was single. My friend is an editor, and told me she was about to make the announcement.”

Joe goes on the say that got Sofia’s number from her co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and then took a flight cross-country to New Orleans to take her out on their very first date.

Showing that two were more in love than ever, he told Cosmo, “I wrote her a book as a gift for our first anniversary. It was about how we met, as well as our courting, and was about 40 pages long… I love my wife a lot.”

Yes, Joe, yes you do. And we’re loving every minute of it!
