Steven Spielberg will direct a new movie based on the real life controversial documents, the Pentagon Papers. Cast are Tom Hanks as Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee and Meryl Streep as publisher Katharine Graham. In 1971, Bradlee and Graham fought for the right to report on the classified documents, that withheld contentious information about the Vietnam War. The film will be financed by Fox and Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment.
