Fifth phase of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election has begun. people are casting their vote with much enthusiasm as people have queued outside polling stations to cast their ballot. Giving details, a voter said that he feels proud to use his vote in the benefit for the state and urged people to help and form a stable government in Uttar Pradesh. Heavy security was deployed outside the booths to avoid any untoward incident. A total of 1.84 crore voters will exercise their franchise at 18,822 polling booths. In all, 608 candidates are in the fray in this phase with maximum of 24 candidates in Amethi and minimum of six each in Kapilvastu and Etwa seats of Siddharth Nagar district. The fifth phase will see candidates contesting for 51 seats across 11 districts.
