தண்டனையும், 10 கோடி ரூபாய் அபராதமும் விதித்து உச்சநீதிமன்றம் தீர்ப்பு வழங்கியது. இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து புதன் கிழமை மாலை பெங்களூரில் உள்ள பரப்பன அக்ரஹார சிறையில் சசிகலாவும், அவரது அண்ணியார் இளவரசியும், பெங்களூர் பரப்பன அக்ரஹாரா சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டனர். இந்நிலையில் அவர் அடைக்கபடும் முன் சிறைக்கு போலீஸ் வாகனத்தில் செல்ல அவர் மறுத்துள்ளார்.
