Should we really be surprised that Katy Perry looked stunning on the red carpet for the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles…
Because we pretty much expected it.
Only thing is, she was channeling her inner Miley Cyrus – and we don’t blame her one bit.
The newly single 32-year-old admitted that her new do was just her turning a new leaf, and she wasn’t ready till now. She said that she was trying to get more attention now and that she always wanted to look like Miley Cyrus, that she always wanted to have a pixie haircut so she just went for it.
She added that she feels like there’s a new wave of authentic vibes coming in and she wants to redefine what it means to look feminine.
She pointed out that Scarlett Johansson is one of the most beautiful women in the world and they have the same haircut now because when she saw the actress at an Oscars party she was like: you’re hot, I’m doing it. Why not?
