A Malay woman who rescued an injured dog in Malacca last Saturday is now hoping for donations from the public to help fund the dog's surgery.

On her facebook profile last night Ziezie Zeyta thanked those who donated but said that the sum received was still not enough for the medical cost which amounted to RM 1,500.

Ziezie caught the attention of netizens after she tended to a dog who was hit by a car on Saturday morning with Malaysians praising her for her actions.
