On Wednesday, a mouse that found its way onboard a British Airways flight traveling from London to San Francisco managed to cause a 4-hour delay.

Tiny and furry though they are, mice can cause some serious problems.
On Wednesday, one that found its way onboard a British Airways flight traveling from London to San Francisco managed to cause a 4-hour delay, reports the BBC.
Due to concerns about the mouse chewing through essential cables and wires, the crew decided it was best to move passengers to another plane, notes UPI.
In announcing the change of plans, the team did try to keep it light.
The crew members told the passengers that the mouse didn’t have its passport, so the plane couldn’t enter U.S. airspace, notes the Associated Press.
Some of those tweeting about the delay saw the humor in the situation as well.
One wrote, “Just had my flight to SFO cancelled because of a mouse on board the plane. Could it not get a visa?? #britishairways," while another quipped, “I'm going to sell this to the movies. It can be the slightly more pedestrian prequel to snakes on a plane.”
