Grocery chain Trader Joe’s is recalling its applesauce products for the possibility of glass shards found in the food. Trader Joe's First Crush Unsweetened Gravenstein Apple Sauce, Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce, and All Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce has been taken off the shelves and destroyed. The Food and Drug Administration stated the applesauce distributor Manzana Products Co. initiated the recall after getting reports from consumers finding glass. Trader Joe’s released a statement saying do not eat the product if you purchased it. They suggest that customers throw it out or take it to their store for a full refund.
