Rio's Sambadrome 'purified' ahead of carnival

The traditional "Lavagem do Sambodromo" ceremony opens the last evening of rehearsal for Rio's 2017 carnival. The ceremony, which comes from the Afro-Brazilian religion Candomblé, aims to purify the path where the samba schools will march starting next weekend.
