It’s hard to imagine Nina Agdal as anything else than one of the top models in the world.
But it appears it wasn’t always so easy.
While speaking to Maxim magazine, the blonde beauty detailed that at the age of 18 she flew to Miami to become a model… and she only had 40 dollars in her pocket and the address for the model apartments.
She said she was crying when she landed at the airport and struggled to communicate with the taxi driver.
But only two years later she sky rocketed to fame as the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s Rookie of the Year. And a few years after that, she became Leonardo DiCaprio’s main squeeze.
So yeah, you could say she’s come a long way from crying in a Miami airport with only a few dollars to her name.
