Report: Trump meeting with Pence amid Michael Flynn turmoil
  • 7 years ago
Embattled National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has been criticized for allegedly having discussions on sanctions with Russia's ambassador in December. Now, top Donald Trump adviser, Kellyanne Conway, is saying that the president has full confidence in Flynn, just before press secretary Sean Spicer said Trump is evaluating the situation and is having conversations with Vice President Mike Pence about his discussions with Flynn on the matter. Conway's comments came after an admission of guilt from Flynn to Pence, two senior administration officials told NBC News. A senior intelligence official confirmed to NBC News that Flynn discussed the Obama sanctions with Ivanovich Kislyak.
