A blizzard brought much of the Canadian Maritimes to a halt on Monday, February 13. Some places in New Brunswick had already received nearly two feet of snow, according to a news report.Thousands of people were without power, schools and businesses were shut down, and roads were closed. People were encouraged to stay inside.
