Mexican drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, accused of running one of the world's biggest drug empires, saw his wife in court Friday after being denied marital visits behind bars. Lawyers for the accused are requesting an easing of restrictions on his captivity, under which he is kept in his cell for 23 hours per day, and they question the legality of the extradition process which has brought him to New York.
