by Andrew CaringiDutch college students from Eindhoven University have completed an around-the-world trip on their custom-built electric motorcycle. Built from scratch by a group of 23 students, the STORM Wave can drive an impressive 230 miles on a single charge. This was put to the test by during the 80-day world trip, with just one change of driver and one battery swap per day and utilizing only local electricity grids. Long-distance electric travel isn’t just on the horizon, it’s cresting the next hill.
