Bolshoi Theatre dancers – soloist Andrei Merkuriev and principal Ekaterina Krysanova – marked the 80th birthday of US composer Philip Glass by performing in the main shopping mall next to the Kremlin on Tuesday.

Several dozen shoppers and tourists gathered near the fountain in the old shopping centre – famous from the Soviet era – to watch the show.
