Fighting picks up in eastern Ukraine with Russia

Rockets hit areas of eastern Ukraine Tuesday in a new wave of fighting between the government and Russian rebels, killing at least eight people dead. The fighting around Avdiivka, outside the city of Donetsk, has cut electricity, leaving residents without heading amid plummeting temperatures. The Ukranian government considered nearly 12,000 residents from Avdiivka due to the outburst of violence and poor living conditions. Some residents went to a local bus station in hopes of escape the heavy shelling.
