The star was hospitalized on Thursday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, following her birthday festivities on Wednesday. After learning that she was given GHB, known as the "date rape drug," she sought medical help, according to PEOPLE magazine. “I voluntarily went to get professional help, and I was informed by their staff that I had been given GHB," Barton told PEOPLE. Officers who arrived at her residence said Barton was speaking coherently before voluntarily going to the hospital.
