Donald Trump sees higher approval ratings in Russia than he does in America

According to Russian pollster VTsIOM, over 70 percent of Russians see a Donald Trump presidency in a very positive light. Among those surveyed, about 40 percent expect good things of Trump and another 31 percent believe that the new U.S. president would at the least be an 'average' U.S. leader. On the other hand, a recent Gallup poll reveals that Trump is the first elected U.S. president to see an approval rating below 50% after the inauguration. Among Americans, 45 percent approve of Trump and 45 percent disapprove of him.
