According to research from the University College London, 29 percent of men say that playing video games helps them relieve stress. The men even said that they find playing video games to be a better stress reliever than sex. Approximately 18 percent of women said they use gaming as a way to relieve stress. Women, on the other hand, are more likely to read a book at 40 percent, or talk with their friends at 84 percent, but twice as likely to take prescription medication than men.
