Women's football final held in Syria's autonomous Kurdish region

For the first time since the declaration of an autonomous Kurdish region in Syria, the final of an all-women's football tournament took place in Qamishli, aimed at encouraging women's sports in the northern region, according to the organisers. The town's own team won the competition.
