Astana, Jan 23 (EFE).- The President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev said he was confident the negotiations between the Syrian government and rebel groups in the Kazakh capital Astana would aid the pursuit of conflict resolution in Syria.

Nazarbayev made the declarations to the United Nations envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura, according to the Kazakh presidency press office.
