WikiLeaks has issued a call asking for President Donald Trump’s tax returns so they can be released to the public.

WikiLeaks has issued a call asking for President Donald Trump’s tax returns so they can be released to the public.
On Sunday, the organization tweeted, “Trump Counselor Kellyanne Conway stated today that Trump will not release his tax returns. Send them to [the WikiLeaks website] so we can.”
The next post explained, “Trump's breach of promise over the release of his tax returns is even more gratuitous than Clinton concealing her Goldman Sachs transcripts.”
WikiLeaks’ announcement was made after Conway told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos on Sunday that “...he’s not going to release his tax returns.”
She added, in part, “We litigated this all through the election. People didn’t care. They voted for him…”
Her statement had been in response to a recent White House petition about his tax returns. Trump had echoed a similar thought earlier, saying at a January press conference, “The only one that cares about my tax returns are the reporters.”
