After the hijacking of British nuclear submarine, MI6 chief M informs his Soviet counterpart General Gogol the whole incident. General Gogol becomes very concerned as Soviet Union itself has lost one of their nuclear submarines few days ago in same circumstance. Gogol summons his best agent Anya Amasova (Agent XXX) to look after the matter. M also calls back James Bond from leave on same purpose. However both the agents are currently spending vacations with their partners in Moscow and Austria ...
