The man behind the attack on New Year's at Reina nightclub in Turkey that left 39 people dead has been caught, Turkish media said. Abdulkadir Masharipov, an Uzbek national, was arrested in Istanbul’s Esenyurt district. Masharipov’s wife was arrested on New Year's day in a raid in the Maltepe district in Turkey. "I learned about the attack from TV. I didn't know that my husband was a [ISIS] terrorist, let alone a sympathizer," she said reportedly. Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmuş Monday said the attack was carried out with the help of an intelligence organization. According to Turkish officials, Masharipov carried out the attack for money and not ideological reasons.
