President-elect Donald Trump will not be taking over the @POTUS Twitter account, and will instead continue to use his own personal account while in office. In an interview with The Sunday Times, Trump said that the decision to keep his personal account was due to the amount of followers (20 million) and his desire to build that number. Trump has continued to tweet since his victory in November but has been tweeting less frequently than before.
