Naltar Valley Road Trip Part 01
A road trip to the hidden beauty with most humble friendly hospitable generous and honest people. Almost 99% of the track is gravelly and unsteady, therefore a lot of jiggling is in the video but I haven’t stabilize any of them just to give it the feel that the viewer is actually travelling there. This area is the most effected due to recent floods and there was no road link between Upper Valley and lower valley at the time of our visit. We had to walk about 3 hours to reach the point where we could get a jeep for further journey. The flood in these areas were not because of rain but it was because of glaciers meltdown. Local people told us that there was no extra ordinary rain which could result in this volume of flood.
Whole area is covered with trees with spectacular views of glaciers all around. Area is secured and best for camping. I’ve tried to cover the views but what human eye can see, heart can feel, and mind can conceive; camera cannot go even near to that. So better to visit the place to see this beauty with your own eye. Naltar is a valley near Gilgit, Hunza and Nomal, Gilgit Baltistan in the Gilgit–Baltistan province of Pakistan. Naltar is 40 km (25 mi) from Gilgit and can be reached by jeeps. Transport is available from Gilgit to Naltar but during a specific time after that own arrangement.
