Australia is using KFC to lure in feral cats

Just when you didn't think Australia could get any better, it is reported that their national parks service is using KFC to lure in feral cats. According to The Guardian, an unnamed source from the Parks Victoria staff told them that KFC is "widely known to be the most effective bait for luring feral cats." Over a four month period, the Parks staff made several visits to the same KFC location, spending $193. Feral cats are a big problem in Australia, covering almost all of the continent and they have already caused the extinction of 20 Australian species.
