Hungarian authorities suspended shipping on the Danube on Tuesday, January 10, because of the risk from floating ice, according to Reuters.More than 20 people died due to the cold weather that hit Poland, Italy, Greece, the Czech Republic, Russia and Ukraine in the past week, the BBC reported.
