Drone Footage Reveals Green Growth at Red Centre

Recent flooding at Australia’s Red Centre brought floodwaters and saw green growth in among the dark red of its iconic earth, as seen in drone footage recorded on January 7.The flooding closed Uluru’s national park to visitors at Christmas, but within two weeks more mild conditions allowed for four-wheel-driving among some of the remaining water. The footage was taken at an area known as the claypans, an area of unmarked track which is normally bone dry, save for those moments when weather events transform the landscape into a sort of beach.
