UFC pulls plug on March 3 event in Las Vegas

For the sixth time in the last five years, the UFC is canceling an event. The leading MMA organization pulled the plug on a fight night planned for March 3 in Las Vegas. The event, which did not have any fights attached to it yet, was slated to air on UFC Fight Pass the night before UFC 209. The UFC previously scrapped a Jan. 21 event in Anaheim, Cali., and rescheduled it as UFC 208 on Feb. 11 in Brooklyn, NY.
