Hard hat challenge attempt leads to very sore head

Amusing footage has emerged from the UK of a man failing spectacularly while attempting the "hard hat challenge."

The video, filmed in Aldershot in December, shows the man trying to catch a flying hard hat on his head after someone flipped it into the air, only for it to hit him hard.

He later wrote online: "There is a thing called the hard hat challenge where someone flips a hard hat in the air and the other person is supposed to catch it on their head.

"I tried it and failed - I ended up with a big headache & a massive lump on top of my head."

The hard hat challenge took the internet by storm last year, and involves someone flipping a hard hat into the air, usually using a spade, while another person tries to catch it on their head.
