Derrick Rose missing from Knicks for unspecified issue

Knicks' guard Derrick Rose was a mysterious scratch from Monday night's home game against the Pelicans and not even team personnel knew where he was. With that said, barely any light was shed on his disappearance after the game by head coach Jeff Hornacek. Right now we don't have enough information to really give you anything. Everything will become clear later on. You know, we want to respect whatever he's going through. We're just not going to comment on it. Current teammate and longtime friend of Rose, Joakim Noah, was able to give slightly more detail. I mean, I don't really want to talk too much about it because I don't really know what the situation is. Obviously Derrick is one of our better players. And when he is not here it is tough. But I am just happy that everything is OK with him. He's OK ... I think it's a relief for all of us. Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo reports that Rose has been privately critical of Hornacek.
