Manatee Enjoys a Belly Rub

A cool video has emerged from the United States of a rare manatee appearing to enjoy a belly rub.

Captured last summer in Brevard County, Florida the video shows the filmer and a friend approach the endangered aquatic mammal in a kayak.

One of the men reaches out to stroke the creature and it appears to enjoy it and even rolls over for a belly rub.

All three species of manatee are listed by the World Conservation Union as vulnerable to extinction.
