Adam Silver is discussing how to enhance NBA League Pass

NBA commissioner Adam Silver dropped a few hints yesterday at CES 2017 about some changes he is looking to make to NBA League Pass. One of Silver's ideas that he shared has to do with watching the end of games. For example, if you don't own NBA League Pass but want to catch the last five minutes of a Cavs-Warriors game, there will be an option to pay a small fee to watch it. Doing this would allow the NBA to monetize more games, especially the ones that trend on social media, and appeal more to the average fan. Certainly we're going from a place where it was one price for an entire season of games. Now just in the last two years, we've made single games available. But I think you're going to get to the point where somebody wants to watch the last five minutes of the game, and they go click, they'll pay a set price for five minutes as opposed to what they would pay for two hours of the game.
