Minnesota appoints P.J. Fleck as new head coach

Western Michigan's P.J. Fleck is leaving the school after four years to join Minnesota as the team's new head football coach. While at Western Michigan, Fleck led the team to a 30-22 record and three bowl appearances, including a 13-1 record this season. Their lone loss came against Wisconsin in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. Minnesota let go of their previous coach, Tracy Claeys, earlier this week after the football team came under fire for 10 players being linked to sexual assault cases.
