After fighting for France Senegalese vets get nationality

A petition has persuaded the French government to grant citizenship to Senegalese troops who fought for France. Veterans of the Senegalese Infantry Regiment, part of the French army, risked their lives in Vietnam and Algeria. The survivors say they were considered French until they left the army -- and once again became Senegalese.
