Ford puts Amazon's Alexa in the passenger seat

Amazon's Alexa smart assistant is the ultimate backseat driver. Ford and Amazon have teamed up to bring a cloud-based voice service to motorists. Alexa will let drivers order items on Amazon, listen to audio books, play music, check news, search for restaurants and get directions. Ford is using its Sync 3 infotainment head unit, included in most Ford vehicles, to integrate Alexa.
