Turkey and Russia agree on Syria ceasefire

The Syrian government and rebel groups have agreed to a ceasefire starting at midnight, followed by political and diplomatic negotiations. Syria's closest ally, Russia, announced that they have reached an agreement on Thursday with Turkey and rebel groups. However, the agreement excludes ISIS, which controls eastern Syria and across the border with Iraq, and Al Qaeda. It remains unclear which rebel-groups scattered throughout Syria have agreed to the ceasefire.
