Kareena Kapoor Says 'Heroine' Is 80% Reality

Kareena Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film 'Heroine', claims that eighty percent of the film's story is reality. The flick is helmed by realistic filmmaker Madhur Bhandarakar, who has explored the reality behind various professions in his previous films. In 'Heroine' the director will unmask the inside picture of the film industry.
Kapoor, the leading lady of the film, states that the movie is eighty percent based on reality. She claims that after watching the film people will know, what happens in the personal life of actresses. Though Kareena was Madhur's first choice for the movie, she declined his offer and the film went to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However, when the former Miss World declared that she was pregnant, she was dropped from the project and Kareena was roped in. The 31-year-old actress says that she is glad that the film finally came to her, as she too wanted to work with Bhandarkar, eversince she watched 'Chandni Bar'. Bebo further added, that no one in the industry has done such a role before and also that the movie is Madhur's best film up till now. 'Heroine' stars Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda alongside Kareena and is slated to release on September 21, this year.
