Alia Bhatt: 'There are no plans for 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi' Remake'

It had been reported a few weeks back that Alia Bhatt would be playing the role essayed by step-sister Pooja Bhatt in the remake of 'Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi', which Pooja was planning to make in the near future. However, newbie actress Alia Bhatt, who will be making her debut with Karan Johar's next film 'Student Of The Year', recently claimed that it is not so. Addressing the media, Alia said, "Pooja had just mentioned once that if she ever makes a remake to Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi, she would like to have me on board, but nothing is confirmed as of now. I have not signed anything and in all probability, the remake might not be even made." Bhatt also said that rumours about she being signed up for the film adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel '2 States' are false.
